Class of 2010 Featuring: Melissa

Last week I had to privilege of photographing Melissa. She is a senior who will be graduating at the end of this week from Turlock High School. Melissa is friends with my sister Andrea, who was "personal stylist" for the shoot.

Indian Bridal Session: Behind the scenes

Two weeks ago I had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of an indian bridal photo shoot. My sisters, Andy and Steph, were models along with Kiran (daughter of the stylist, Happy).

Happy Bassi is the owner of Roop Beauty Culture, she does all things beauty (hair, makeup, threading, styling and the list goes on!). We met Happy and Kiran a few months back at Bed, Bath and Beyond and she let us know that she was looking for models to expand her portfolio in Indian Bridal. We agreed to be a part of it and it was an amazing day at Happy's home.

Also a part of the day's work was Neeta Sharma , she is the creator of the gorgeous henna. I also spent time with two fantastic photographers, Jaspal Khaira and Kumar of Kumar Video.

Turlock High School Prom: Featuring Andy, Tyler, Lauren and Thao

This past Friday my sister Andy went to her high school senior prom and it was a blast to help her with her hair and makeup and of course sneak in a few minutes for a mini photo shoot!

We took a few minutes to take some pictures at my parents home and then went to her friend Lauren's home where we met up with Lauren, Lauren's boyfriend Thao and Andy's date, Tyler. The guys were very handsome in their tuxedos and the girls looked gorgeous!

Sunday afternoon with family

My husband and I joined our family in Oakland this past Sunday afternoon to celebrate my sister-in-law, Ivette's birthday. I, of course, had my camera with me and had a blast with my nieces and nephews chasing them around and photographing them. Here is a fun look at how adorable and fun these kids are! Enjoy!
