Prom 2011

Wow, time definitely flies when you're living life and having a blast! The first weekend in April my youngest sister, Stephanie, went to her senior prom. She is going to graduate in May and I am soooo proud of the young woman she has become.

I remember when I was younger dreaming of the days when my sisters would be older so I could do all the fun things with them that I did with my girlfriends (share clothes, jewelry, go shopping together, travel together and so forth!). We have always been very close despite our age differences(Andy and I are 8 years apart and Steph and I are 9 years apart) and I love my sisters to pieces!

It has been so fun to be a part of these special milestones, it takes me back to the time when I was their age and how I felt in that moment...wow what a treat, to be there with both of my sisters and what a special time in a young girls life!

Steph asked me if I would photograph her and friends before they headed off to dinner and I, of course, said yes! So we did some getting ready pictures and then headed over to On Broadway with Two Guys for a quick mini-shoot with her group and had a blast! They had dinner at Two Guys Red Brick Cafe, the restaurant within the facility and then were whisked away via a lovely limousine to dance the night away.

Enjoy!

Fall, Fun and Sisters

If I haven't already said how much I LOVE fall, I will say it again " I LOVE FALL!" I love the beautiful warm colors, layering my clothes with cozy knit sweaters, scarves and the cool weather. And of course it makes for many fantastic outdoor photo sessions!

My dear, sweet cousins, Nadine & Jody, came to visit us for a whole week during Thanksgiving and it was too much fun! They needed an update on their pictures for mom and I was so ready to have a blast with them, they are such beautiful gals! We went to a nearby park and to the local college for some fun shots and they had great fun!

Here are some of our favorites!

Stephanie

My youngest sister, Stephanie, is finally a senior! I am so excited to share with you her senior portraits, we had so much fun during her session.  We traveled up to Murphys, CA on a beautiful fall morning, located northeast of the Columbia/Sonora area, part of the gold country.

Stephanie is such a ball of energy, loves to laugh, thinks almost everything is hilarious and has the biggest heart for everyone! I just love her presence, she is so fun to be around! Her session was as energetic as she is and she has such a fun style, we had fun playing with all the jewelry she brought. As many of you know my sister Andy is my stylist for all of my sessions and she was a huge help in making Steph look awesome!  Naturally if my sisters and I are together I have to take pictures of them, they are inseparable and I love them to pieces!

Congratulations Steph, I am so proud of you and your many accomplishments, I know you are going to do amazing things in college! You rock and thank you so much for having me photograph your senior portraits, it was an honor, I love you!

Crystal Class of 2011

Crystal is officially a senior and very proud of it! She was featured in July as one of my senior reps and I had to do another photo shoot of her because she is so darn cute, fun and fashionable!

We included one adorable friend of Crystal's, Carlos, her neighbors puppy and he was soooo cute I just wanted to squeeze him and play with him all day!

I have know Crystal since the day she was born, and possibly before that, and I consider her another sister in the family, she has a wonderful heart and loves life. We had a blast at our session, I am so proud of her, she has grown up to be such a lovely young lady and I know she will do great things!

Congratulations Class of 2011!

Senior Portraits, featuring: Sofia

In August I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Sofia on an early morning, at a lovely little coffee shop in the downtown Ripon area and began our session on Main St. We had a great time, Sofia is quite the fashionista, we loved all her outfits!!

She was so fun to work with on her session, not only does she love fashion, Santa Cruz and the beach, but she loves wrestling!! She is on her high school wrestling team, which I thought was awesome! We had too much fun and my favorites are her in the field with her tie-dye throw, she is a hippie at heart and I loved that!

Enjoy!
