Jorge + Amanda, Engagement Session, Diablo Grande

Their wedding is only one month away and I'm so excited to share with you their engagement session.  

Introducing the soon to be: Mr. and Mrs. Gomez, otherwise known as Jorge and Amanda, my brother-in-law and future-sister-in-law.
We did their session one August evening at the Diablo Grande Golf & Country Club, tucked away in the hills near Patterson, Ca.

I pray that you will have a blessed union and many years of life, love, happiness and blessings!  I am so excited to welcome you into the family Amanda!  To Jorge, I am so excited you have found the love of your life, she brings out the best in you!

Happy Friday everyone!  Had to share a few pictures from upcoming posts to keep you up to date on what I have been up to!

The first is from a personal shoot featuring my brother-in-law, Jorge, and future sister-in-law, Amanda! We did their engagement session in August and had so much fun! They are getting married in October in Reno and I can't wait to be a part of their special day. I will be attending as a guest, but I will be sharing pictures of Amanda getting ready on her big day, later in October, I am so excited for them!!

  The second picture below is of my great-nephew (so crazy, I'm a great-aunt now!). Nathan, was 5 days new when we did his newborn session and is such a precious little thing. He is a few weeks older now, but I hope to share more pictures of him as he grows. I can't wait, it's going to be an incredible journey! 

Jarrod + Sally

A couple of weeks ago I met Jarrod and Sally at Parducci Winery in Ukiah for a lifestyle session. I absolutely love Mendocino County because they have some of the best wineries in California and Parducci sells my favorite dessert wine, Muscat Canelli and because I just love my family who lives the area, the gorgeous scenery, the mountains, the crisp air, it's wonderful!

We chatted over a bottle of wine, they told me their wonderful love story, how they met and we had plenty of laughs during our time together! Our entire session was on the grounds of the winery, we began in the wine tasting room, ventured outdoors on the patio and later down to a gorgeous garden with mini-waterfalls, a pond, trees and flowers everywhere! It was quite magical.

I have to give major thanks to my awesome cousin Nadine arranging our session at Parducci, she set everything up for us to stay after hours, you rock Nadine!! It's also very helpful to arrange a photoshoot at a winery when you know someone who works there (big thanks to Nadine's mom, my aunt!!).

E-session: Chad + Danielle

Danielle and Chad are such a funny and loving couple! They met 7 years ago and have been inseparable, it is so sweet to see them together, they compliment each other so well and what is even more special is that Danielle and Chad are getting married on their 8th anniversary in September and I'm so excited to be a part of their special day!

I have known Danielle since we were kiddos back in elementary school, we grew up in a tight-knit, farming and dairy community in California and I got to know Chad during our session. They have such a lovely engagement story, Chad took Danielle to Catalina Island a couple of months back and proposed at the top of mountain during the sunset!!

We had so much fun during our session, laughed a ton, Chad brought his guitar to include in the session (which was my favorite part!) and he was also our background music guy. Below are my faves from the session, looking forward to your wedding Chad and Danielle!

Cris + Sam

A couple of weeks back, Cris, Sam and myself traveled to Monterey for a special shoot. They were celebrating their 5 year anniversary with a photo session because they have never had pictures done together, they have candids or individuals of each other, so this was a special time for them.

I have known Cris and Sam for many years, Cris and I are a part of our church music/praise team together (she is a fantastic singer!!) and we've gotten to know each other through various bible studies. She has such a heart for people and God, it's inspiring and she loves her husband to pieces! It's so awesome! Sam is a wonderful guy, very caring, funny and he is totally in love with Cris and it is so sweet how they are when they spend time together. Their love for each definitely showed throughout their shoot, I loved it!

We had a blast, laughed A LOT, talked about food, ate a fabulous lunch together and enjoyed the gorgeous day in Monterey! Enjoy my faves from the day!
